(Senior) Analytical Chemist (m/f/d)

Your mission
As a (Senior) Analytical Chemistry expert, you will lead the development and supervision of analytical methods using NMR, Raman, UV-Vis, HPLC, and other analytical techniques. Collaborating closely with the product development and R&D teams, you will contribute to key areas including manufacturing, stability testing, and impurity analysis. Your role will also involve the development, validation, and documentation of analytical methods for clinical applications, while adhering to GMP/GLP/ICH industry standards.

Method Development and Quality Control:
  • Develop and validate analytical methods for impurity, purity, and identity analysis using techniques such as UV-Vis, NMR, HPLC, GC, and Raman spectroscopy.
  • Establish robust processes for stability testing and impurity profiling for drug substances, intermediates, and final products.
Collaboration and Support:
  • Provide analytical support for manufacturing development and toxicology studies, including analysis of in-house produced samples and impurities synthesised for evaluation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including R&D, product development, and regulatory teams, to align analytical processes with project goals.
Data Integrity and Documentation:
  • Write protocols, technical reports, and data summaries, ensuring full compliance with GMP/GLP standards.
  • Contribute to regulatory submissions.
Your profile
  • 4+ years of analytical chemistry experience 
  • Proven expertise in method development using advanced spectroscopic techniques including UV-Vis, NMR, HPLC, and Raman spectroscopy
  • Demonstrable experience in NMR structure determination
  • Background in GMP/GLP/ICH-compliant environments
  • Interdisciplinary mindset and passion for experimental and hands-on work
  • Fluent English skills, both written and spoken

NVision is developing fast, robust and easy-to-use hyperpolarization technology for preclinical and clinical research in our POLARIS product line. Those devices are placed close to an MRI scanner in a research or clinical environment to produce hyperpolarized contrast agents on demand in a fast, fully-automated, multi-step chemical process. Key steps of the process contain fluidic transport across multiple vessels and chemical mixing and separation processes in fully-reuseable or single-use disposable fluid paths. We develop our commercial products jointly with external design and manufacturing partners and the process development as well as the design and manufacturing of prototypes is done entirely in-house.
