Field Product Specialist (Hyperpolarization/NMR) (m/f/d) I US East Coast

Your mission

We are seeking an experienced Field Product Specialist in the US (East Coast) to serve as the primary interface between Engineering and Science. This multidisciplinary role requires a deep understanding of both fields to ensure the reliable operation of our Preclinical Polaris. You will be responsible for the seamless transition from hyperpolarization physics to high-quality diagnostic doses, translating scientific needs into technical solutions. This position combines deep NMR expertise with hands-on collaboration between our customers and internal product teams.

System Operations & Technical Support
  • Serve as the technical lead for the Preclinical Polaris, supporting daily operation and optimizing workflows for the reliable production of hyperpolarized doses
  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and software issues to ensure continuous system availability
  • Perform Tier 1 system maintenance and repairs, acting as the subject matter expert and collaborating with Engineering when required
  • Support system demonstrations in collaboration with Product Management
Quality Control & NMR Validation
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for NMR analysis and quality control
  • Support validation activities and analyze system performance to ensure long-term stability and reproducibility
  • Ensure field activities comply with applicable regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements
Training & Implementation
  • Develop and deliver user training and documentation for the Preclinical Polaris
  • Lead technical onboarding for researchers and clinical staff, enabling effective system use in daily practice
  • Support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure systems meet performance expectations at installation
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Act as the voice of the field for R&D, Engineering, and Product Management
  • Support the evaluation and validation of new hardware and software features

Your profile

  • A PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field with significant practical experience in NMR and polarizer systems
  • Deep expertise in NMR spectroscopy,  must be comfortable with both the theoretical framework and the practical operation of NMR hardware.
  • Direct experience with Hyperpolarization (HP) technologies (e.g., DNP, PHIP) (Preferred)
  • Strong pedagogical skills for training others and a "facilitator" mindset to help users navigate complex technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally (up to 70%)
  • Valid driver’s license
